APPLICATION PROCEDURE/GRANT INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that changes have been made to the application instructions and forms for 2010.
New Applicants: A brief Preliminary Eligibility Form is now required for new applicants as well as a Letter of Inquiry.
Prior Grantees: The Preliminary Eligibility Form is not required, however a Letter of Inquiry must be submitted. Please note that the Letter of Inquiry has a new component to address the current economic conditions.
Please refer to the downloadable Instructions and Preliminary Eligibility Form and Application Form available in both Microsoft Word and PDF format to begin the process.
A list of documents to include in the application is provided in the instructions document. Electronic submission via email is preferred. All inquiries and applications will be acknowledged.
The Foundation may require a site visit as part of the application review process.
Grant cycle: The board usually meets two or three times each year. Please telephone the Foundation office for the current schedule of deadline dates, as the application should be made at least six to eight weeks prior to each Board of Directors meeting.
Post-grant Evaluation: is individualized, and may include periodic site visits during the grant period, outcome-based program reports, measured progress, and/or financial statements. The Foundation wishes to minimize the burden of a grantee’s reporting process and will work to find a mutually agreeable format.
Recognition policy: It is the Board of Directors’ philosophy that Vine and Branches Foundation's work is in response to a calling to glorify the Lord and not themselves. Therefore, all gifts made are to remain anonymous and the Foundation’s name cannot be used without permission. |
